On the 1st of July we started our exciting Edukado project. For this years project we’re going to Madurai in the South of India to help local builders build a new part to a primary school called the Peniel school not too far from the city center. The project is happening this summer during July and August!
First we had to make a looong journey to get to our destination….
We took three flights to get to Chennai (a bit further north from Madurai) We only arrived here 24 hours after we took our first plane at the airport in Zaventem (Belgium). In Chennai we took a 6 hour train where we all luckily could sleep, still tired from our long trip.
Once we arrived in Madurai we drove to our hostel, funnily called YMCA 🙂
